3D Modeling & Morphometrics
This work uses structure-from-motion 3D modeling techniques combined with classic approaches to photogrammetry and morphometrics to address morphological changes in the bivalve group Monotis from the Late Triassic of New Zealand. The distinct shape variations displayed by Monotis (sub)genera endemic to New Zealand, as compared to globally distributed Monotis (sub)genera, warrant a quantitative description and investigation into potential causes.
